Purple is happy to present Gideon Rubin’s third solo exhibition in Paris, A Stranger’s Hand. Thirty new paintings feature the artist’s signature faceless figures, drawing from vintage photographs of 20th century artists. The symbolic erasure of the face — and identity — transforms these individuals into a universal story.
On view now at Galerie Karsten Greve until November 21st, Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 7 pm.
