The show documents nearly a decade of love, life, and creative collaboration with Dovile Drizyte and their young daughter, Iggy. Together, they live and create for themselves a life that is truly free—adventurous, unique and deeply creative. Their work transforms everyday experiences into a universal message of beauty and freedom, found in even the smallest moments. From making a cafe in the morning to meeting the Pope, from Iggy’s beautiful baptism to bees in marmalade, from photographing concentration camps to the world of fashion—what a life! What an artist! And what a powerful, generous body of work—presented in the middle of nowhere, in a stunning historical Renaissance fortress in Italy—for everyone who comes to discover that Juergen Teller is far more than an acclaimed fashion photographer and portraitist. He is a true contemporary artist, whose life is his work, and whose installations are conceptual as well as poetical shows.
