Films4Peace by Collective Directors
To celebrate World Peace Day today we are screening the films4peace collective videos from six contemporary artists who explore and interpret the subject of peace to catalyze discussion and action. “Artists confront us with the challenges of our time. films4peace are both disturbing and inspiring, responsive to the reality of our time but they also ask us to be responsible for our actions,” says Mark Coetzee, curator of films4peace. The films selected come from artists assume vivid astro focus, Rob Carter, Anthony Goicolea, Zanele Muholi Athi-Patra Ruga, and Wilmer Wilson IV.
