Hero Systems Presents Poetry Night at CuatroH, New York
India Salvor Menuez presents her character Chibi Cherry at CuatroH in conjunction with their Poetry Night. Chibi Cherry embodies a shy youth who confronts skeptics of her eccentric dance throughout the performance. The interventions first come from a friend who dismisses the dance saying no one will understand it, then Cherry’s mother offers hollow support while getting a pedicure, and finally a flashlight fairy provides divine guidance.
Poetry Night also included presentations from Todd Anderson, Aaron James Kuhn, Kenya Johnson, Ana Fabrega, Alexander Rocine and Dorothy Lam. Photo Elise Gallant
