Purple presents “Echo Bloom”, a new fashion film directed by Kasumi Hiraoka showcasing THE ULTRA BLACK’s latest collection
Born in a clothing factory, a girl vanishes after awakening in a dreamlike world where she falls in love. Her disappearance leads a boy on a surreal journey to Tokyo. Shot in THE ULTRA BLACK’s atelier, a new Japanese fashion brand emerging from the factory that produces for Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto, the film blends fashion, dance, and fantasy, exploring themes of love, creation, loss, and rebirth, with real seamstresses performing haunting choreography.
