In the 90’s, people came to Japan for the future; now, they come for the past. Perhaps that’s why Japan is always a reference in fashion. It’s not by accident that Japan is always at the right place at the right time.

Not conforming, letting oneself drift, gradually fading into a social structure where the codes elude us. And even if, at times, these codes become clear – for I love to observe – then evaluating them to better free oneself from all social obligations. Tokyo has become, for me, an immense forest of inaccessible fauna, which suits me perfectly. Often, I let myself be carries by its energy; I explore it in my own way, while staying detached, abstract. Sometimes, curious, I deduce the intentions of this fauna. I detect its signs. But there lies the beautiful reality: a stranger in this forest, I remain invisible.
