“Noguchi’s New York” on view at The Noguchi Museum in New York
Organized for the museum’s 40th anniversary, the exhibition explores Isamu Noguchi’s lifelong relationship with New York through sculptures, models, photographs, and archival materials. Alongside celebrated public works, it highlights unrealized proposals for playgrounds, plazas, and civic spaces, revealing how the city shaped Noguchi’s vision and how he sought to reshape the city in return.
