Tucker's designer Gaby Basora grew up watching films in her mother's Pike Place Market theater. A huge fan of director Kinga Burza as well as Sofia Coppola, Zoe Cassavetes and Bertolucci, cinema plays a huge part of Basora’s creative inspiration and direction. For the Tucker 2012 Summer film Basora wanted to express a nostalgic innocence and put forth a coming of age moment - an homage to ‘Taxi Driver’, “Pretty Baby” and “The Little Thief”. It’s all about Flirting with boundaries. The initial treatment imagined other situations, perhaps a bit more risqué than stealing one of mommy's colorful nat sherman's. It was surprising that many peers made moral commentary on experiences that most share. Ultimately the film perfectly captures the spirited and slightly mischievous beauty of being young in the summertime. Starring Tennessee Thomas.
