Louis W. for A.P.C. presents Bent for You

Louis W. for A.P.C. presents Bent for You by Adrien Cothier

For several seasons now, the capsule collection Louis W. for A.P.C. has focused its aesthetic on bedding a cinematic approach to the leather jacket universe. This intimate link started in 2012 for the first collection with the short film “Odyssey,” an obscure remake of the iconic French new wave film “Contempt.” Today, the brutal atmosphere of Brooklyn creates the setting for a sensual ride with an urban dancer, loosely inspired by Jamel Shabazz’s pictures. Directed by Adrien Cothier “Bent for You” is cut like a music video to the synthesized sounds of “Tank Diving,” an epic soundtrack from Maelstrom, an electronic artist and newcomer from Zone records (The Hacker & Gesaffelstein). The futuristic track follows an icy and robotic dancer, echoing the “Blade Runner” replicants.
