A stay at Davide Rizzo’s villa in Abruzzo, Italy

Davide Rizzo host his annual olive harvest at his villa in Controguerra, Abruzzo, Central Italy. With the designer’s self-built estate acting as the epicentre of the action. The house is inspired by that of a 1950’s bungalow, and hosts a vast art collection; featuring modern treasures from the region, as well as Rizzo’s own designs. Davide Rizzo has established an impressive, multi-faceted spectrum of work; from full conception of interior planning including furniture and home accessories design, to private residences and public spaces in Germany, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Russia and the USA. As one of Europe’s most sought-after interior designers, he boasts a varied portfolio of commercial and VIP clients; from Shu Uemura to Russian aristocracy. Today, Davide Rizzo operates as head of his eponymous international architectural and interior design firm in Berlin, which he established in 2000.
