Olaf Nicolai ‘Z. Point’ at Carolina Nitsch Gallery, New York

Z. Point traces Olaf Nicolai’s nightime exploration of Death Valley’s desolte Zabrinski Point, a location made famous by Michelangelo Antonioni’s film of the same name. Nicolai used his camera flash to guide his way and presents glass droplets alongside the photographs which altogether match his body weight. Text and photo Elise Gallant
