TED STAMM at Marianne Boesky, New York

Marianne Boesky’s Chelsea gallery presents a small survey of works by the late Ted Stamm. The artist’s progressive Minimalism uses dynamic forms, unexpected shapes and subtle texture. Stamm’s bodies of work address a need for reinvention in painting. While black dominates the works in the exhibition, the artist also employed passages of color on canvas works to explore patterns and create a new visual language. On view through April 27th 2013 at Marianne Boesky, 509 West 24th Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
